Gnosticism As A Basic Mechanism Of Corruption
Gnosticism is secret knowledge. It is a basic element of all corruption. So understanding it is the key to understanding every element of corruption in society. The world defines gnosticism as a religion and therefore capitalizes the word. But most of what the world does is a corruption which needs to be corrected. The underlying basis of the gnostic religion is the exact same underlying basis of all corruption; and therefore, there is no justification in limiting the concept, or the term, to a religion. For context consider how the carbon dioxide hype is promoted. Deniers supposedly refuse to look at the data. The science is said to be clear and settled. So I search high and low for the data which I refuse to look at; and it cannot be found. That's gnosticism as secret knowledge claiming to know something that doesn't exist. Relativity sort of started with an inability to find an etheric medium to conduct light, then drifted into a quagmire of evaluating two sets of motion simultaneously, and then added multiple reference frames to evaluate multiple velocities. There is no connection between one reference frame and another. Separate reference frames are separate universes. So multiple reference frames move relativity out of existing knowledge, science and objective realities and into a make-believe world where everything is contrived and imagined. Moving out of objective reality and into a make-believe world arbitrated by authority is the purpose of gnosticism. When arguing with fundamentalist Christians, they do not explain or provide evidence, they quote the Bible. There can supposedly be no errors in the Bible. So one and one equals three, because the Bible says so. More specifically, God supposedly created everything six thousand years ago, because the Bible sort of says so somewhere. The need to attribute to an unquestionable authority is an element of gnosticism. There is an outer perimeter to gnosticism, where objective reality is removed from the subject; and then an inner force aligns the result upon motives. Motives always conflict with objective realities; so advancing motives requires a nullification of objective reality and a basis for replacing it with arbitrary, or contrived, reality. The pretense that there is a validity to the contrivance is gnosticism. Authoritarianism is a key element of gnosticism. In fact, it is the hinge-point. Once the authority exists, the rest is contrived with no relationship to reality. Notice in the carbon dioxide hype, that authority is the only argument given. The IPCC is supposedly a peer reviewed group which all scientists agree with. Supposedly, 97.5% of actively researching climatologists agree with each other that humans cause climate change. Why is agreement or consensus relevant? Supposedly, most of the experts on a subject cannot be wrong. Rational persons don't care how many are right or wrong; they want to know what a subject consists of. Being right or wrong is a justification mechanism. Only corrupters are concerned about justification. Justification tells no one how to deal with the problems. So corrupters spend all of their effort contriving authority; and then they say, "trust us." Supposedly, the highest of authorities are doing all that can possibly be done to solve peoples' problems; and no one else should get in the way. The opposite is rationality. It involves each person having a proper relationship to objective reality. Rationality is not good enough for corrupters, because they are incompetent, and they don't get enough out of life when everyone is on an equal basis. A manifestation of gnosticism is a communication style where claims and accusations lack any specifics or explanations which would allow the truth to be determined. "It's just so because we say so, and we are beyond question" is the implication. Omitting explanations and specifics may look like sloppy communication standards, but it is the essence of the gnostic attitude that superiority trumps rationality. Corrupt persons actually assume they are so right and unquestionable that no one needs to evaluate what they say. In other words, the attitude of gnosticism stems not only from a scheme for prevailing, it includes an assumption about superiority. The more ignorant corrupt persons are, the more certain they are that they could not possibly be wrong. This is because their reality shifts away from an objective basis and toward a subjective feeling. They feel that they are right. Feeling right is immune to the influences of objective reality. So the concealed source of gnostic knowledge lies not in a higher wisdom but in a shift away from reality and into a world of subjectivity and motives. There is no understanding involved. What needs to be right is what is right for corrupters.
