What is Meant by a War Against the Lower Classes

A lot of people can't believe a war against the lower classes exist. Is there total equality and justice? The inequalities and injustices always fall onto the most vulnerable persons. They add up to a force which prevents lower class persons from solving their problems.

Conservatism is almost nothing other than a war against the lower classes, so an honest look at it shows what is going on. During recent years, Medicaid kept getting cut and cut to "reduce deficit spending" while trillions were lavished onto Wall Street types to "improve the economy." Similarly, pennies were cut from Low Income Energy Assistance.

Why not spend more on the lower classes to stimulate the economy and give less to the rich? The lower classes spend their money in a way which stimulates the economy, while the rich stash it. In fact, the housing bubble existed for no other reason than the tax break to the rich, which resulted in real estate flipping as an investment scheme.

But according the conservatives, the lower classes do not pay into the government treasury, so giving to them would be socialism—not just the ruination of government but the only recognizable sin in conservatism—the slippery slope to communism which must be stopped in its tracks before it gets out of hand. That ethic is a war against the lower classes.

Look at the fraud in the numbers. About $10 billion per year is chiseled out of Medicaid. A few million is cut from Low Income Energy Assistance. The Bush Administration increased the federal debt from $3 trillion to $12 Trillion. That's more than a trillion dollars per year. The chiseling from the lower classes did nothing significant to reduce it. But the $2 trillion in tax breaks to the rich did a lot to increase the debt, as did the $800 billion give-away to drug companies for a prescription drug plan which created as many losers as winners.

But it's more a matter of principle than actual dollars. Supposedly, the lower classes do not deserve government benefits, and giving them something they don't deserve starts down the slippery slope to communism. That's a war against the lower classes for the purpose of staying off the slippery slope to communism. Obviously, there is no such communism; it's bigotry and elitism, which are subconscious motives for a war against the lower classes.

Corrupt persons do not understand moral concepts like bigotry and elitism. If they did, the forces would disappear. Lack of abstract understanding is the only thing which allows corruption to develop.

Nothing would be better for the economy than giving money to persons who need it the most. They use it to solve their problems. Solving problems means jobs and increased productivity. But conservatives make sure it doesn't happen for supposed ethical reasons.

A very large number of low class persons have to work for the minimum wage of $5.35 per hour, which doesn't pay living expenses. They pay the flat tax of 15.3% on all of it, which the rich do not pay, because they don't need social security for retirement. State governments pay their low class workers the minimum wage, while Wal-Mart pays 50% more and hires the same types of persons.

Conservatives will not allow the minimum wage to be increased, because supposedly fewer low class persons will be hired if wages go up. Don't they just love the lower classes.

The minimum wage is like the gas mileage requirement for auto manufacturers. Years ago, the auto industry went to Congress and requested the gas mileage requirement, so they would all be under the same requirements while making improvements. Otherwise, some would have an advantage selling junkers, while improved technology is made by others.

The minimum wage does that—it puts all employers under the same requirements, so some don't have an advantage while others pay more. Blocking the increase does nothing but drive more low class persons into a hole in the ground. And the minimum wage has nothing to do with paying taxes. Conservatives are their brothers keepers only while destroying the lower classes.

Right now, conservatives and bigots are making sure the economic stimulus plan does not create brown jobs and black jobs but only green jobs. Conservatives want money spent on the military but not roads and bridges. That's the difference between high class jobs which waste money and low class jobs which solve problems. And that's the war against the lower classes.
