Ordered Existence Means Objectivity

A common error is to assume subjective concerns come first, which leads to objective reality being sacrificed. Life is designed and sustained through objective reality. If objectivity doesn’t come first, the result is death and destruction.

Life is ordered existence. There are demanding responsibilities to maintaining complex, ordered existence. The most basic and significant responsibility is objectivity.

Objectivity means looking at the evidence and explaining the specifics through rationality. It also means keeping subjective concerns out of public realities. Subjectivity is a private thing, because it is too detailed and complex for public concerns.

An example of the problem is hate laws. Hate is a subjective concept based on values which cannot be defined or objectively dealt with. When hate laws are enforced, the persons controlling power arbitrate the subject for their purposes, which means everything they do is virtue, and everything their enemies do is wrong. Objective criticism is not allowed. The result is power steamrolling over opponents and the objective reality required to solve problems.

The US Constitution attempted to remove subjectivity from the government. It did this by giving people the freedom to believe, think and speak whatever they want, with the limits being objectively defined by acts. Other western countries did not protect such subjectivity through basic laws, and the result is power mongers in other peoples' minds controlling, dominating and manipulating in a destructive way.

Politics in the US has drifted into a totally subjective realm. First, the rhetoric became extremely subjective with values and emotions brought to the surface. The "Great Communicator" instituted this standard in government, as if enforcing values were something good instead of something bad. Now, conservatives use this subjective standard as a test of higher worth, as if rationality were a sellout, and only the emotion dripping bigots were really protecting the kids and pets.

Superficiality is the playing field of subjectivity. To go below the surface invokes objective realities and exposes the frauds of subjectivity. Superficiality means using slogans and changing subjects before the meaning can be investigated. Such slogans as lowering taxes, creating small government and opposing abortions have never failed to rally conservatives, even though conservatives do the opposite in the most blatant ways. Deficit spending results in increased taxes, even when the borrowed money is used for tax breaks. Tax payers pay it back with interest. The only real progress that has been made in reducing abortions has been through the social activists who solve real social problems, and about ninety nine percent of them would call themselves liberals, not conservatives.

Objectivity is going below the surface and looking at why problems occur. It includes the why with the what. There are an infinite number of complex relationships in all social problems, and they have to be accounted for to solve the problems. This means study and knowledge followed by rational criticism which includes specifics and explanations. To think this process can be skipped over while pushing a magical button to solve problems is extreme stupidity.

Yet society has moved away from this process. The carbon dioxide fraud is based on the authority of the IPCC and nothing other than that. Any look at the specifics and evidence would show that there is no real mechanism for carbon dioxide creating global warming. Now legislation has been passed requiring vehicles to get 35 miles per gallon, as if technology could be legislated. A vehicle which uses that little energy cannot overcome more than a 50 mph wind, as demonstrated by such existing vehicles which are about the equivalent of glorified golf carts. The persons who know such things are cut out of the discussions, because superficial blather has become too important to allow objective knowledge to stand in the way of motives.
