Science is Broken Overview

What to do about it Science is rapidly deteriorating into a tool of propaganda for power mongers, as bureaucrats dry up funding for real science and pay only for outcome-directed research. Heavy handedness is also increasing drastically, as scientists who criticize too much lose their jobs. The global warming fraud shows publicly what is happening throughout science. An agenda is forced onto real scientists and the public in contempt for rationality and evidence. Everyone is forced to submit to a fake consensus based on intimidation. (How the Firing Works) There is little external accountability for science. As a result, little can be done to correct errors or overcome corruption. The largest errors cannot be questioned within science, and external criticism is ignored. The worst of it is that science has replaced religion in shaping social standards, and it is now aligning standards upon corruption. The high priests of science are teaching society that fraud is exploitable, and truth is a menace to be subdued. In earlier centuries, science had a positive influence on society in developing social awareness around objectivity and rationality. It replaced the witchcraft and hocus pocus of charlatans with evaluation of objective evidence as the means of determining truth. But now, science is leading the pack for charlatanism and witchcraft, as junk science is acquiring a greater legitimacy than the charlatans ever had. The public seems to be so mesmerized by technology that they assume there must be flawless science behind it. The truth is that technology is extremely simplistic and inadequate because of the lack of good science. Science is determining causative relationships (link 8). Corruptions in science break the causative links. Without causation, the process is not science but witchcraft. There is no causation for the Lorentz equation in relativity, yet it defines the subject. There is no mechanism for carbon dioxide creating global warming. Wherever there is corruption in science, the most important, underlying facts are contrived, while science is applied to more superficial elements of the subject. Omitting the science where it is most relevant isn't an error, it is fraud. That's why the word fraud must be used in describing the major corruptions of science. Rationalizers claim, or tell themselves, that no one would have a reason to produce such fraud. The motive is a question of morality. Religion is not generally allowed to be mixed with science, but in the simplest terms, fraud allows power mongers to railroad a subject and exploit it without the accountability which truth produces. For specific examples, relativity is a closed loop of logic with an invalid starting point. It says the receiving point of light determines the velocity. Effect supposedly precedes cause. That logic is not valid anyplace. Even earlier, the Michelson-Morley experiment created the need for relativity. It failed to find an etheric medium in space for conducting light waves. In fact, it failed to produce any result. A looked-for diffraction pattern did not appear. The absence of a result is not a valid basis for conclusions in science. Any number of explanations exist for the result. A similar example in biology is prions. A protein supposedly functions like a microorganism in creating a series of related diseases. The genetic material would reside in the host (victim). This means all evolution would move toward eliminating the disease, not increasing its complexity. In fact, genetic diseases cannot get beyond one mutation before evolution corrects them. One mutation cannot create a series of diseases with strain variations. Sometimes it is shear propaganda that overtakes science, as in global warming. The go-along scientists never look at the starting point; they assumed it has already been worked out. When an El Nino warms the Pacific Ocean, carbon dioxide increases in the atmosphere, and after the El Nino, the CO2 level decreases. This shows that oceans (not human activity) control the atmospheric level of CO2, rapidly and totally. The problem is not that science is a slow process of correcting errors. There are forces which promote errors in science, and the worst forces originate outside science primarily coming from the bureaucracies and journalism. For example, some physicists say that in 1925 the bureaucrats issued a decree saying that any physics department which maintained a single physicist who did not support relativity would cease to get government funding. Nowdays, science bureaucrats require that every detail of research be described in grant proposals; and in the laboratory, the researchers can do nothing but fill in the blanks with numbers. The claim is that doing otherwise would be defrauding the public. So the research has to be done at a desk instead of the laboratory. Grant providers require reductionist methodologies, where one type of analysis is used with no relationship to surrounding complexities. Absurd conclusions are always the result. Exploratory research is not allowed, unless a laboratory is so well funded that it can do so without a grant or with a private grant which is more flexible. Yet all of the real progress and discoveries of science are in the exploratory research. Science bureaucrats are not politicians. They are scientists who put themselves in competition with the scientists in the laboratories. The editors and reviewers of science journals do the same. The result is that the laboratory scientists are dominated by office scientists who dictate how their work will be designed and reported. An example is a recent decree in the microbiological sciences requiring that all numerical results must include statistical analysis. Very little quantitation is suitable for statistics, and statistics are so unreliable and misleading that they would seldom be allowed in science several decades ago. But microbiologists now have to bastardize all of their quantitation to please the lords of science. Sometimes such changes are voted on by scientific societies, but the voting does little to change the dynamics of corrupt power. (about like share holders fixing corporations) To understand what is happening in science, you have to realize that as science gets more complex, fewer scientists understand the subjects which they study. They often assume, for example, that statistics is a method of determining accuracy of data. That's not what statistics does. Terms like "probability" and "confidence limits" create the impression in some minds that accuracy is a result. Without understanding what is behind those terms, they are nothing but propaganda. (See Junk Science.) Another problem is that power mongers in science do not want competitors and critics challenging their power. Promoting falsehood is a method of arbitrating the results and insulating opinions from truth. Mad Cow Disease could circulate through the food supply for several years before anyone knows it's there. A real science needs to replace the contrivance based on prions. The answer to the energy problem is considered to be alternative forms of energy. How can physicists develop alternative energy sources, when every equation they apply to the subject is corrupted by the misdefinition of energy? The government spends $30-40 billion per year on physics. Relativity is said to be ninety percent of physics. That's billions spent on a contrivance in conflict with all basic principles of science and logic. But perhaps most significantly, the purpose of fraud is why it matters. The purpose is for power mongers to take over a subject and prevent anyone from competing with them or questioning their incompetence and errors. The purpose of increasing knowledge is replaced with the purpose of promoting the motives of incompetent and corrupt frauds. The number one responsibility for corruption is with the public. Getting informed and promoting the truth is first responsibility anyone has. Congress creates the only official accountability for science. Science is outside the democratic process except for Congress, because scientists do not respond to concerns of the public. A congressional hearing is needed to establish the state of science. Innumerable scientists could tell Congress how they lost their jobs or funding for not promoting the propaganda of the power mongers. There is no better issue for establishing the state of science than the error in the energy equation, because my mathematical proof is undeniable. In this instance, the math is so simple and clear that it takes precedence over all other evidence, because it is not subject to illusions or errors in interpretation, as observations are. Yet physicists refuse to be corrected on the error. Math in science can be corrupted when it gets so complex that it evades public accountability, but the math which I use is simple and totally transparent. Tell your congressman that an investigation is needed. But instead of waiting for results, what everyone can do about any corruption is develop truth. Truth evolves forward through all interactions of reality, and it subdues corruption. Truth is dependent upon and limited by communication. Communicate the truth to others. In fact, Congress can only do what the power of truth forces or allows it to do. This is why Lyndon Johnson once said, "You convinced me, now go out and make me do it." Making him do it means creating the power of truth which politicians need for basing their actions on.
