Perhaps the number one force which is corrupting and destroying human life is the assumption that power is virtue. When power is assumed to be virtue, lies become truth and sin becomes necessary, because power is advanced in that manner.

Persons who assume that power is virtue are climbing over each other to acquire more power. In their attempts to attach to power, there is no sin that is sin.

The proper definition of bigotry is the subconscious assumption that power is virtue. Certainly, there is some conscious awareness involved, but it is extremely incomplete. Anyone who really understands the subject knows that the assumption of power being virtue is extremely erroneous.

So why can nothing constructive be done with power? Because power destroys life. The proper definition of life is ordered complexity. Death is disordered complexity. Order can only be sustained through rationality.

Humans cannot sustain complexities without understanding the complexities. It's like fixing a television. Jabbing a screwdriver into it is a sure way to destroy it. Total knowledge about the TV is needed to fix it.

Power is created and used through force. Force is anything which conflicts with reality. Power is in conflict with reality as the ultimate use of force.

Power mongers assume there is something necessary about power, because power is needed to control social complexities. They are wrong, because they are clueless as to what control means. They assume control means ordered existence, but their concept of control through power destroys ordered existence.

It's like two persons walking in the same pair of pants. Power and control is trying to walk in someone else's pants. It's also like being a back-seat driver. In other words, power creates too whimsical and illusive of a relationship to the realities being controlled and attempts to override someone else's influences in a way which can never succeed. People and their realities get destroyed in the process. But power mongers could not care less, because their relationship to the result is removed. They may gain something through exploitation, while others lose.

Social complexities can only be created and sustained by accounting for each element and moving it forward by the criterion of increased complexity. This process is evolution. All complexities must evolve. Evolution of complexities is the opposite of power mongers sticking their screw driver into it through force prevailing over rationality.

Police force may look like an exception, where power is needed to maintain social order. But it is not an exception to the basic principle that power is destructive. Rather, it is the use of a small amount of force, with its related injustices, to prevent a greater harm and injustice. In other words, there is no such thing as a force, including police force, without it's own destructive influences through the use of force.
