Corruption creates a war in the minds of corrupt persons. They don’t understand that war, so they fight a substitute war against substitute enemies.

It’s how fundamentalists fight evolution, how conservatives fight terrorism and how liberals fight carbon dioxide.

Fundamentalists who have never taken a science course in their lives think they can out-science the scientists in declaring evolution to be nonexistent. It doesn’t matter whether dinosaur bones are buried in rocks or whether ancient sea fossils are found in Rocky Mountain shale. It all occurred in six thousand years, because Christ only had a few ancestors to Adam and Eve.

Conservatives are fighting a war against terrorists who they can’t find. So they create terrorists from garage drunks or unemployed mercenaries. They defy every law on the books, Constitutional rights and acts of Congress, because it is no easy thing to fight nonexistent terrorists.

Liberals want to destroy everything on the planet to remove carbon dioxide from the air, because it’s no easy thing to do when the oceans suck all carbon dioxide from the air and only release one third as much as plants need to grow on. Try to out-ocean the oceans.

These are proxy wars against proxy enemies. When the enemies are imagined, there is no relationship to reality and no limits to the extremes needed to fight them. The enemies never go away.

In fact, the enemies keep increasing, because they are created through the corruption used to fight them. The enemies are everyone outside the minds of corrupters, because everyone loses from the insanity which corrupters perpetrate against them.

Corruption starts with incompetence. When incompetent persons want to get more out of life than their inabilities provide, they find criminal methods of getting it. This offends other persons who find their hard work being destroyed for such frivolous reasons. The opposing force is not understood by corrupters due to a deficiency of abstract understanding. They don’t see the relationship between their destructivity and the opposing reaction. So they assume something unfair is going on. Why do all those persons hate them? There must be enemies someplace up to no good.

So corrupters go looking for the enemies who are creating their problems. They aren’t easy to find. When the wrong persons are attacked, the backlash only results in more failures.

But once in awhile, the perfect enemy is located. The perfect enemy is the one which cannot fight back. For Fundamentalists who have no contact with science, evolution is the perfect enemy. For conservatives, imagined terrorists are the perfect enemies, since no one likes terrorists. For liberals, carbon dioxide is the perfect enemy, since know one can prove what it is doing.

The defining principle of the proxy war against proxy enemies is total irrationality. The perpetrators don’t care what the realities of the subject are, because their enemy is imaginary. Objective reality just gets in the way. So they use force, violence and lawlessness as their weapons of choice.
