Attitudes, Direction, Purpose
To be lost (following satan to the pit) is to look at something, know that it is right, but despise it, because it is the wrong person saying so. This is an example of putting attitudes above objective reality. Attitudes are the problem, not the answer. They are what lead people astray, not what solves their problems.
Satan is the attitude promoter. He teaches and enforces attitudes. An example is positivism. Dupes assume they must always be positive. Positivism is nihilisma corruption, not a virtue. Life starts with negativism. It allows errors to be corrected.
Then there's humbleness. Satan is the humblest thing in existence. Where did he get such virtues? Through fakery. Everything is empty show in his pit.
There are a myriad of rules to life which satan teaches people; and they are so unconscious that they are often assumed to be normalcy. To overcome all of this requires one simple fact. The direction or purpose must be corrected. There is a hinge point to all corruptions. The underlying error must be corrected.
The most basic, underlying error of corruption is to get the purpose of life misaligned. It is too easy for satan to misalign the purpose of life, because the wrong purpose tends to feel right. The wrong purpose is seeking power, and power tends to feel good.
But this path might not be recognizable as a power trip. It tends to look like a variety of virtues, such as community. Forming a group and building it up is power mongering. Groups are sources of power. It's extremely difficult to get involved in any group activity without falling into the trap of power mongering. It's like owning a Ferrari without stepping on the gas.
The total effect of the misdirection in life is an attempt to get someplace. Where is that place? It's where persons with power are. It's often assumed to be where God is; but in actuality, it's where satan is. To get there, you have to follow all of the rules which satan teaches, which are most basically nihilism, elitism, bigotry, selfishness, etc. But these attitudes are not recognized as the corruptions which they are.
The truth is determined, and the fix is produced, through a very simple mechanism. But it's too incredible to be accepted by power seekers. It's simply through objective reality. This means contact with objective reality, acquiring objective reality and using objective reality. This is too easy to do. In fact, it's often viewed as below the dignity of important persons to stoop to that level. When mongering power, it's viewed as very debased. But it is the source of life.
The reason why objectivity is hated by power mongers is because it destroys all of the corrupt attitudes. It thereby appears to be destroying something of value. But the truth is, it destroys the things that need to be destroyed for eternal life. It destroys the corruptions which lead people into satan's pit and replaces them with the thing which defines and creates life, which is objective reality.
Persons who follow the path of destruction have one very basic error which they cannot overcome. Talking about power doesn't fix it, because power is viewed as a secondary tool for a higher purpose. The higher purpose is to move upward. Upward is where all of the heroes are, which might include God. You aren't going to tell atheists or Christians that God is down, and satan is up. But that is exactly the case due to the fact that they bought a screwed up instrument which got up and down reversed. They look upward and see Einstein, the pope, the winners and all other successful persons. God has to be up there someplace. They are looking at the top of the power pile; and if they ever get there, they won't find God there.
Christ said as much on the "Sermon on the Mount" (Mat 5,6,7). He said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, the reign of God is their's" etc. But even most of the Christians have replaced Christ's words with Paul's, which promotes the corruptions instead of overcomes them. Supposedly, sin was taken care of on the cross through atonement; and supposedly, people are saved by faith, not works. So there's no reason not to monger power, and no path for overcoming sin. Christ taught that the path of solving problems, particularly for the needy, reverses the forces of sin by aligning upon objective reality.
A force comes from satan's direction (from all corrupt persons) which tells people that objectivity turns everything over to the dogs. Objectivity results in everyone being on an equal basis. This is unthinkable for corrupt persons for two major reasons. First, they are driven to be above others to dominate and control them. Secondly, they acquired enemies who they hate, and it's unthinkable for them to be on an equal basis. But these are the forces which destroyed corrupt persons; they are not the standards which anyone should be following, if they don't expect to end up in satan's pit.
Anyone who can't accept everyone being on an equal basis will end up in satan's pit, because there is no other resolution of conflicts. This is what Christ taught, and what all rational persons always teach. It is the basis of the US Constitution and Bill of Rightsequality for all, and rights which are self-evident and inalienable.
Paul's theology has the purpose of teaching the opposite. By saying sin was taken care of on the cross, the entire purpose of overcoming sin is eradicated. When nothing is done about sin, the persons who use the most force and violence destroy everyone else.
Then Paul attacked all of Christ's teaching by saying people are saved by faith (sometimes, grace) rather than works (Rom 3:28). Faith can be anything in the muddle of corrupters like Paul. So it's directed toward support for their corruptions. Faith means support for their falsehoods, which supposedly represent God.
Christ said a lot about faith. He said to put faith in him and his teaching, while he taught how works save. Real faith is expecting to get saved by feeding the hungry, healing the sick, etc. (Mat 25:31-46).
To get real faith into perspective, start with the opposite. A corrupt person has no reason to stop sinning, because if he did, no one else would, and he would be no better off. He doesn't expect virtue to get him anywhere. A moral person assumes that if he fed the hungry and healed the sick, it would move things forward, and eventually everyone might do the same. Then there would be no hungry and sick persons. Real faith is expecting constructivity to have a value.
Then Paul adds another twist to his theology by saying the purpose of faith is justification. Justice can never be changed. It's a universal result which nobody determines. An act is either justice or injustice when it is performed, and it can never be anything other than that. To say an injustice can be changed into justice is to say liars are going to be dominating and destroying people.
Eternal life is the absence of sin. This means an absence of the motives to monger power through strife. The motives of elitism, bigotry, nihilism and selfishness have to be gone. Then everyone lives in equality. Not being able to accept that equality is the result of motives and sin based on domination.
