Blood is not Atonement

1. Christ's blood represented martydom, not atonement. Christ called it "ransom," not sacrifice (Mat 20:28, Mk 10:45). Ransom is payed to destroyers, not to God.

2. Paul claimed that without shedding blood there is no remission of sin (Heb 9:22). It's satanic to claim God requires the shedding of blood like the demons.

3. Christ's purpose was to show that shedding blood is sin, not virtue.

In the past, Catholics did not use the word atonement. Instead, they used the word "redemption" to explain Christ's dying on the cross. Recently, some Catholics are starting to use the word atonement, as fundamentalism engulfs all of Christianity.

The reason why Catholics did not use the word atonement, is because the concept of atonement contradicts everything Christ taught. Christ taught the human responsibilities for getting saved and said that on judgment day the saved are separated from the unsaved on the basis of who fed the hungry, clothed the naked, healed the sick, etc. (Mat 25:31-46). Based on Paul's corroupt theology, atonement is interpreted to mean that sin was taken care of on the cross, because people cannot save themselves, and only faith saves, not works.

In making corrupt arguments, the promoters of atonement and Paul's theology refer to Mathew 26:28, which says, "for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, to be poured out in behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins." Supposedly, blood means atonement. Blood doesn't mean atonement. Blood means that the truth about sin was produced by showing that humans would murder God for doing good deeds and preaching morality.

Then the arguers start stringing things together. In the Old Testament, blood meant atonement. But the New Testament is not the Old Testament. Christ taught that sacrifice was not constructive (Mat 9:13, 12:7), and effort was made throughout Old Testament times to replace the demonic ritual of sacrifice with morality (Isaiah 1:11)(Jer 7:22)(Hosea 6:6)(Psalms 40:7, 50:8-15).

Stringing false assumptions together is an extremely perverse method of argument. It's how creationism is synthesized out of Genesis. Supposedly, there was an ice age during the past six thousand years (the shortest known is 100,000 years), and satan buried dinosaur bones to mislead people.

To develop the logic of a subject in an honest way, the entire context needs to be used, and quotes need to be aligned upon the basic principles and clear meanings which are not dependent upon false assumptions. Christ's whole purpose was to describe the human responsibilities for getting saved. To negate all he said on the bases of a false interpretation of a quote is dishonest and despicable.

The reason why drinking wine was used as a symbol of drinking Christ's blood was because it was a method of conveying a message through symbolism which says some of the spirit cannibals can get saved by using Christ's blood as a substitute for spirit cannibalism. Spirit cannibalism is described on the page titled The Spirit World, which is linked below. Persons who were not aware of spirit cannibalism did not know how to interpret the concept; but that's no excuse for plugging in a fraud based on atonement in contempt for everything else Christ taught. Shedding blood can represent the truth of martyrdom; it doesn't have to represent atonement.
