Communicationthe Element of Nihilism
There is a communication culture based on nihilism, established at the street level, so to speak, though standard in the social structures, particularly universities. Superficially, it appears to be based on certain rules; but it's really one overriding, or underlying, rule, which is nihilism. The rule of nihilism in communication says never communicate objective reality. Use communication for anything else. It's up to the imagination and creativity of the adherent to figure out what to replace objective reality with.
At the top of the list as substitutes for objective reality is entertainment. Supposedly, the first and foremost thing people need to do is entertain each other. There is a half truth to this. Entertainment is not a bad way for people to relate to each other. But this need is then exploited and used destructively to enforce nihilism onto society. The rule of nihilism prevents people from going beyond the entertainment and adding objective reality to communication.
There are other substitutes for objective reality besides entertainment. If the communication is more formal, obfuscation is perhaps the most common procedure for stripping communication of its objective reality. Babbling nonsense and trivia endlessly and using it to block out real communication is the essence of obfuscation.
Following these rules is of course not possible all of the time, everywhere. It's sort of like the rules of a street gang. They can only be applied where the street gang is unquestioned authority, and elsewhere there must be an appearance of normalcy.
There is also the exception to rules which is the privilege of the enforcers. This is the Nazism of evil persons. Evil persons are the enforcers of satan's influences on society; and they make themselves authorities over other people who they control. Their concept of authority is that an authority figure must be one who is above all rules. So they do the opposite of what they demand of others. Not the least reason is because it's impossible not to defy the rules of destructivity. So they place demands upon others which they can't keep themselves.
There are pockets of activity where these rules of corruption cannot be applied. This occurs wherever there are serious results that are needed, such as solving pressing problems or designing demanding products.
Notice that the demands of objective reality force objectivity onto communication. Material life was created for this reason. To solve material problems, constructive and moral activity are required. Powerlessness at the bottom of society teaches morality for this reason. It is where problems need to be solved, and where there are no incentives for corruptions related to power mongering.
This gets back to the starting point. Why is nihilism taught, enforced and promoted through a corrupt standard of communication? All of the whys break down in evaluating corruption, because there is not a logic for corruption. It is psychologically conditioned. Yet corruption is enforced with an awful lot of determination. Since all elements of corruption are interdependent, the reason for corruption generally needs to go no farther than its necessary relationship to all other elements of corruption. Standing back from all of it and asking why any corruption at all is something corrupt persons never do.
