Demonism—the timeless ethic

Demonism is still the underlying ethic of the world, from Christians to atheists. In ancient times, it consisted of draining blood of innocent persons to make the corn grow or volcanoes not occur. Nowdays, it consists of covertly promoting evil to get the blessings of evil.

Positivism is an example. About one percent of it is constructive; the rest is demonism. I have no complaint with Robert Schuler putting kids playing a violin on television and calling it positivism. He says not to read too much theology in his positivism.

What positivism usually consists of is attacking critics. Nowdays, social critics are called conspiracy theorists attempting to stigmatize them. What is the opposite of conspiracy theorizing. It is see no evil, speak no evil, do no evil, which is how evil is promoted. It's the world's ethic, as demonstrated by the attack upon critics.

What is being promoted when criticisms are opposed? The corruptions of power are promoted. Supposedly, there is more good than bad in the world's power structures, and opposing criticism is promoting something good about power. Not so. Criticism is always constructive. Virtues do not need to be protected from criticism. The only question about criticism is honest standards which allow truth to be developed. Corrupt standards often prevent truth from being determined, which is fraud. Secondly, satan and evil take over all sources of power in the world, and most persons know it, even while they deny it. They only deny it because they want to exploit the results. Exploiting satan's corruption is demonism.

Christians use their theology to rationalize demonism instead of oppose it. Even apart from Paul, religion is almost universally used to rationalize sin instead of overcome it. All sin is directed by satan and channeled into his schemes for destroying life. Buying into that scheme and exploiting it is demonism. Then Paul resurrected the demonic ritual of sacrifice as the supposed purpose of Christianity by saying murdering Christ was a good deed, because it changed God by offering a sacrifice.
