False Love of Christ

Religions are emphasizing a "personal relationship to Jesus" as the essence of Christianity. Sometimes, it's a relationship to the Holy Spirit. Fraud, fraud, fraud. It would be hugging a vacuum, if a person did nothing other than that. But the false teaching goes with a total contempt for the morality which Christ taught.

Material life has no other purpose than overcoming sin by learning what it is in the way matter is used. Christ said that to love him is to put his words into practice (Luke 6:47). No one loves Christ while destroying everyone and everything around them. No one has any better relationship to Christ or God than to other humans. If they don't love the humans who they see, how can they love the God who they don't see (1 John 4:20).

Morality is not arbitrary. No one decides what morality is. God does not decide what morality is. This fact has been proven in human life. It is why the authors of the US Constitution said rights are self-evident and inalienable. It means no one determines what rights are.

Here's why. Any time a person decides what morality is, he creates a problem for someone else, because no two minds will produce the same result, not to mention different experiences and values. This is just as true if God is the one deciding. Anything God decides will run into conflict with other minds.

Being half-consciously aware of this, the tendency in religion is to say, therefore, God's mind takes priority over all others, and submission to God is the essence of morality. More fraud, fraud, fraud. No one can determine what is in God's mind any easier than they can determine morality for themselves. In fact, a lot less so. Judging real morality is looking at universal realities, while judging God's mind is adding assumptions to the subject. Anyone who is promoting what is in God's mind is promoting their own corruptions as supposedly God's work.

Christ said, those who get saved are the ones who fed the hungry, healed the sick, etc . (Mat 25:31-46). This is the basis of morality for many reasons. One is because sin creates a hate for the lowly. The absence of sin is the only thing morality needs to be. Secondly, morality is that which sustains life based on the fact that everyone is universally trying to sustain their own lives and opposes anything which prevents them from doing so. Morality must be universalized, or each person's morality is in conflict with each other person's morality, and that is what hell is. If a standard isn't the same for everyone, it creates a conflict.

Humans can't heal the sick by waving a hand the way Christ could. They have to use medicine, which is based on science. The basis of science is making a measurement. Scientific evidence shows what will heal the sick and what will not. Scientific evidence is the use of atoms to determine universal realities which are the same for everyone, everywhere. Therefore, morality is based on universal realities, which can be measured in the atoms. You don't guess about God's head to determine morality; you make measurements. If you can't measure it; stop lying to us.

This means you start with definitions and logic. You don't just say morality feels like this or that. What morality feels like for one person is hell for someone else. Sin feels good for corrupt persons. Ending sin and solving problems does not feel good for a lot of persons. There is a mathematics which says whether problems are being solved regardless of how it feels.

Sure, Christ said morality must include love. But there is nothing easier to lie about than love. And there is nothing easier to lie to oneself about. What does someone else want done to them? Letting them decide is what love is. This is why the test on judgment day is based upon the most simple human needs. There is then no question of what the needy want. Something isn't being imposed upon them against their will.
