Fraud
Fraud isn't being wrong; it's operating by standards which prevent truth from being determined. There are mechanisms which are used to obstruct the development of truth. Use of such mechanisms is fraud.
Truth has to evolve, just like biology evolves. Someone doesn't just proclaim a truth. There is no way of knowing whether something is true apart from it's place in all surrounding truth. Determining whether realities fit into all surrounding truth requires an evaluation process. The process of making relationships to surrounding realities is called reason. It's strict application is called logic. Reason and logic must be used to determine what truth is. Therefore, falsehoods are promoted by obstructing the process of using reason to test realities for truth.
Allowing realities to be exposed to the process of reason is called accountability. One might assume that accountability applies to authority. But far more basic and important is accountability through reason. The reasoning process results in a universal result, which is truth. Truth if infinitely more significant than authority. Truth is the size of the universe and unchanging.
One of the methods of insulating realities from accountability is to use one-way communication. Frauds make claims and do not allow critics to question them. Without criticism (a refined form of reason), claims cannot be aligned upon truth through correct relationships to all surrounding realities.
It takes power to perpetrate fraud, because false realities have no effect on anyone without the power to impose. The power to impose fraud is used to prevent rationality from being developed.
Mongering power is facilitated through false realities. Authorities can arbitrate false realities, but they cannot arbitrate truth. Truth is the same for everyone, and it creates accountability through criticism. But falsehoods are separated from truth, which removes them from the accountability of criticism. Only authorities determine what false realities are supposed to consist of.
Describing this simple fact may seem like so much contentious argument. But the results show the truth. If one looks at the falsehoods which are visible, the first counter argument is that authorities carry more weight, and therefore, the falsehoods are facts. The second level of argument is that nothing is perfect, and the errors get corrected over time. But neither of these arguments stand up to the truth about fraud. The fraud is in the mechanism. The purpose here is to look at the mechanisms of handling the realities.
All sorts of communication mechanisms are used to repel criticism, and argumentativeness is used to justify fraud. But there is a mechanism which does not involve argumentativeness. It's dissociation of reality. In the mind, dissociated reality is broken up into pieces, so a person's reality one minute is not the same as their reality the next minute.
There is also a dissociation of reality which occurs at the social level. It is the insulation of reality from all surrounding reality. Groups or persons will take up a narrowly defined set of realities and refuse to consider any related realities. This standard is approximately uniform in all social structures, which demonstrates that mongering power is the defining influence, and fraud is how power is mongered.
People don't understand the corrupt nature of such mechanisms, they just do it because everyone else does, and it seems so convenient. Sin is developed as normalcy, because it seems so convenient. Morality is looking beyond what is convenient and determining what is constructive.
