Fraud as a Weapon Against Truth John the Elder stated in the Bible that sin is lawlessness (1John 3:4). While his quote is not a definition, it's a good description. The correct definition of sin is, anything which destroys life. Corrupt persons despise the existence of laws. They do everything possible to decrease reliance upon laws and functionality of laws in society. Morality is that which sustains life. Life is ordered existence. Sin creates a hate for ordered existence. Hate is at the end point of sin. At the origins of the problem, corrupt persons are control freaks. They assume they can solve their problems by dominating other people. Power is required. So they monger power as a tool for control. The universe stands in their way as a test of the fact that power is a corruption. There is no way to use power constructively. Any imposition of one person onto another destroys life. The hope of corrupters is to defy the opposing forces, and power should allow them to do so. But it never happens. The opposing forces in the universe are always bigger than any force corrupters can create. Not believing that they are doomed to failure, corrupters develop a chronic, rabid hate for the forces that stand in their way. Far more significant than individuals standing in their way are laws. Human laws are designed to protect people, solve problems and promote lifeall obstacles to control freaks overwhelming other persons with power. Human laws can be defied or eradicated. Universal laws cannot. Physical laws appear to be malleable. Airplanes can overcome the gravity which holds people down. In the same way, corrupters assume it should be possible to defy, overcome or subdue any law of the universe. Truth, however, can never be defeated. The more corrupters oppose it, the more truth increases. Corrupters cannot believe that truth is undefeatable, so they are forever fighting a war against it. One of their major weapons in their war against truth is fraud. Fraud is a contrivance in conflict with truth. The major frauds are not an attempt to achieve a result; they are an attempt to defeat truth. In other words, the major frauds are promoted for the sake of promoting fraud. You don't see what is gained by the major frauds. The gain is in the hate for truth by corrupters who find all of their schemes running into conflict with truth which they cannot subdue. A hate for truth is a measure of how corrupt persons judge themselves. Only they know how much of a conflict with truth their corruptions have created. Examples of the major frauds are Paul's theology in conflict with Christ's teaching, relativity in conflict with the rest of physics and carbon dioxide as the supposed cause of global warming. There is nothing those frauds can be used for besides destroying truth for the sake of destroying truth.
