Jealousy
Jealousy is the subconscious feeling of threat from the betterment of others. The world does not understand how broad based jealousy is. Usually, jealousy is vaguely assumed to be what lovers quarrel over. It is far more prevalent than that. Contrary to usual assumptions, jealousy looks downward rather than upward (Envy looks upward). Downward are objectionable persons who are viewed as a threat. Upward is power which corrupt persons want to attach to. The origins of jealousy begin, as all sin does, with the assumption that prevailing against other persons would solve one's own problems. Attempts to prevail create conflicts. Prevailing requires power, and collaboration is the primary source of power. So there are good guys and bad guys. The good guys are doing the same thing and supporting the sin. The bad guys are victims, who are vulnerable persons. They lash back, which is supposedly where the sin begins. Sin divides minds into two halves. All that is supportive is good and creates positive reactions. All that is opposing is bad and creates negative reactions. It is only possible to be jealous of enemies, because threat only comes from enemies. Enemies are the victims of sin, because they react against it. The victims are vulnerable persons, because only they can be prevailed against. What it adds up to is that jealousy looks downward, not upward, because corrupt persons are jealous of their vulnerable and powerless victims. It has nothing to do with how well off the victims are; it is strictly determined by where the threat is. What do vulnerable and powerless persons have that others would be jealous about? They have the ultimate thing to be jealous about, which is justice. The victims of sin have justice on their side. Justice is the ultimate force which always prevails eventually. Corrupt persons can't stand the fact that their vulnerable and powerless victims have justice on their side, while they don't. So let's consider what justice is. I would define it as the result that truth creates. The power of truth is the force of justice. It always prevails in the long run, because it has the universe behind it. It sounds preposterous, of course, so we have to look at it in more detail. Truth is the communicated representation of unified reality. The communicated part can be ignored as a technical point, and then truth is the equivalent of unified reality. It links to all of the rest of unified reality. It therefore cannot be defied, to the extent that it is established. So what is establishing truth? Technically, it is creating enough links to the rest of unified reality, so that the relationships cannot be denied. In actuality, it is creating awareness which cannot be defied. An example is the world being round. No one can be convinced anymore that it is flat. So why does the power of truth create a force of justice which always prevails eventually? The reason is because people do not want to be sinned against. That's why criminal codes exist. Even when sin is not codified, it is threatening and is opposed. So corrupted persons have to conceal, deny and rationalize sin. But the truth can only increase over time, as relationships are made between realities. So the truth increases, and the result is justice. However, one must realize that half truth is not justice, and it can be the first response, which is how scandal is produced. Justice is getting the larger and more important truths established, which always takes longer. Scandal focuses upon personalized realities, which are not everyone's business. Eventually, the scandalizers are the one's who are ruined, but a lot of time is required for justice to run its course. Justice is not a side issue to jealousy; it is a central issue, because justice is largely what creates jealousy. Corrupt persons cannot stand to see that less corrupt persons have justice on their side. Jealousy is the most acted out element of corruption. It burns inside of corrupt persons forcing them to take some action on it. The actions are in conflict with justice, which makes them very visibly corrupt. For example, murder might be a consequence, and it seems so senseless.
The lower classes and the third world are destroyed for no other reason than jealousy. Supposedly, their oppressors are conserving resources by shoving them out of the economy. But resources are not conserved; they are squandered, so they can be used as the excuse for the war against the lower classes. Very telling is the fact that resources were not considered to be relevant until recent decades, while the war against the lower classes has not changed in thousands of years. |
