Knowledge as Path When human preachers talk of morality, they only mention what not to do. When the prophets in the Bible teach morality, they focus on what people are supposed to do. One of their central concerns is the process of acquiring knowledge. This is because knowledge creates the road to morality. Morality is that which sustains life. Life is extremely complex; and therefore sustaining it is complex and difficult to learn. Being too haphazard is more apt to diminish life than sustain it. In fact, one must focus on the most simple acts of creating justice to be most effective at sustaining life, which of course means feeding the hungry, healing the sick, etc. (Mat 25:31-46). But even these acts are so difficult nowdays that they cannot be done without knowledge. There is a tendency to assume knowledge is something that is given. It is almost impossible to give knowledge. One of the main problems in the education system is that knowledge cannot easily be given; and for this reason, success in education is largely based upon stimulating students to acquire knowledge. To a large extent, people must educate themselves. This problem greatly limited the ability of the prophets to teach morality. They had to teach people to teach themselves. Christ said people need to look and listen to acquire knowledge (Mat 13:16)(Mark 8:18)(Luke 10:23,24 12:54,55). A lack of knowledge also makes one vulnerable to being misdirected by corrupters. Nothing enslaves people to corrupters like ignorance. The purpose of worshipping wooden idols a few thousand years ago was to separate minds from objective reality, so they could be controlled more easily. Those who spoke for the wooden idols controlled the worshippers of the wooden idols. Nowdays, the same thing is being done by teaching people to absorb themselves in entertainment and technology and not to concern themselves with the decisions which govern their lives. It's not turning off minds, it's distracting them. Distraction works, because acquiring knowledge requires a process. There has to be effort and commitment. One thing leads to another when seeking knowledge, because knowledge is built upon knowledge. This means passive persons stay stalled at the starting point. This problem is so noticeable that professors address it and refer to it as "dumbing down". It means people are being made dumber rather than smarter. The purpose is to make people more controllable. Values are taught and enforced at the social level for the purpose of keeping people ignorant. It's supposedly not cool to seek knowledge. Being cool is to be nihilistic. Nihilism is the promotion of ignorance. People need to recognize the word cool for the fraud that it is and step out of that trap. People don't need to be controlled by corrupters. They can get out of the environments of corruption and lead their own lives. There is plenty of information available for anyone who wants to find it and develop their own knowledge. To go beyond the abstract philosophy, the claim that carbon dioxide creates global warming is an extreme example of how this whole fraud scheme works. The claims were railroaded onto society by propagandists with no mention of the evidence or science of the subject. Now that the public has been convinced, real scientists dare not speak out, or they will lose their grants or jobs. The public had a responsibility to look at the evidence and science, but they didn't. The purpose of the scheme is to fight a war against the lower classes based upon the claim that there are too many humans using too many resources and destroying the planet with them. There are subjective value judgments in environmentalism and humanism, but the claim that carbon dioxide is the problem is a scientific fraud which the public is not questioning. It isn't a disagreement about the science; it's not even considering the science. Proper evaluation would lead to the truth; and truth is what sets people free (John 8:32, 34). |
