Reality by Proximity Replaces Logic

In general, society has learned to accept, if not promote reality by proximity as a substitute for rationality. Corrupters cannot add logic to a subject, because the result would be truth, which they hate. Instead, they discuss nearby subjects and try to get them to stick by proximity. This is how they smear opponents and build up themselves. For smear, they discuss negative subjects, like a drunken brawl, crime or ignorance. For self-aggrandizement, they discuss positive subjects, like the brilliance of Einstein or wealth in Hollywood. Then connections are supposed to be made by implication.

Corrupters use implications to make links instead of logic. Implications are invisible links. The invisibility allows falsehood to be promoted with deniability. If questions are raised, the meaning can be tailored to the need. Even without questions, the meaning of implications can change with the circumstances. The purpose of implication is to create vague and multiple meanings.

People need to first recognize such a standard for the evil that it is. Even more basically, people need to recognize and accept the fact that anyone who uses corrupt methods of getting their way are not just winners to be emulated by destroyers to be separated from. Learn to look at quality of communication as the most visible evidence of moral standards. And then try to raise the standards by producing higher quality communication.

To some extent, quality communication is what you would learn in a composition course in school. But those technicalities are only the starting point. Morality goes beyond the technicalities, and it shows up in the simplest communication as well as the complex.

Honesty, for example, is not in the technicalities. Whether someone is exploiting a lie or promoting truth is quite visible. The liars produce minimal communication with vagaries and no clarifications. The truth seekers explain the meaning of statements and add evidence. Those two procedures don't look the same; so it is not difficult to judge honesty.

Logic is looking at the real and visible connections between points, and then developing the side points in the same way. There is never an end in making real connections, because all objective realities are linked together in some way. The links create truth, because only truth has correct links to other realities, while lies do not.

In other words, composition might be telling a story clearly, but morality is picking the right realities for the purpose of replacing lies with truth. Producing truth is a demanding task, and you will get beat to a pulp by corrupters for doing so (as Christ was crucified for it). But that's no excuse for being part of the problem instead of part of the solution.
