The Fraud of Spirit Powers

Power unleashes sin like emptying a bag of feathers, because it takes power to overwhelm victims of sin. Therefore, moral character needs to be acquired before power is acquired. But spirit powers short-cut the process of overcoming sin. Some persons always had so much spirit power that they never cared about sin. Others acquire spirit powers through various mechanisms before overcoming sin.

The cheapest way to increase spirit powers is spirit cannibalism. Genesis describes spirit cannibalism very explicitly. When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, their eyes were opened and they became like gods, just like the serpent said would happen. Spirit cannibals acquire increased perception, which allows them to perceive forward and backward in time. But it does nothing to improve their moral character, because perception is not knowledge.

Not only are corrupt persons unaware that perception is not knowledge, they assume it is a superior form of knowledge. They assume they know what they perceive. This is why the demons refer to satan as the lord of knowledge and light. The pervasive perception that satan acquires through spirit cannibalism is supposedly a superior form of knowledge. Yet satan is about the dumbest thing in existence.

Why isn't perception knowledge? Consider the lessons of life. If an old lady is shown the inside of a television, it is nothing but plastic and metal. If the designers sees it, it is circuitry which makes the television work. They perceive the same, but the knowledge is different. Knowledge is acquired through study, not perception. A person only "knows" what he sees if he already acquired knowledge about it.

So why do corrupt persons assume spirit perception is a superior form of knowledge? They find it desirable to be in contact with massive amounts of reality through spirit perception, and they assume they can use the information for something. But they can only use it for destructive purposes, because it is so much easier to destroy than to improve anything.

In other words, they are mistaking quantity for quality. They assume a huge amount of trivia is worth more than a normal amount of relevant reality. And there is a degree of euphoria with spirit powers which cause such a state to seem superior.

For these reasons, Buddhists belittle knowledge and morality, while they strive for higher spiritual states through meditation. They claim their result is superior to knowledge. But they can never describe what is superior about it. Their descriptive material (philosophy? theology?) is extremely corrupt, showing that they are quite ignorant and having the purposes of protecting corruption.

A critical element of Buddhist verbiage is a position which they call "nonduality," by which they mean there is no difference between material and spiritual existence. They use this stance as a means of negating anything anyone else has to say on the subject, because everyone else assumes there is a major difference between spiritual and material. After negating opponents, they proceed to describe the same subjects with their own terminology.

There are several points to note about this. It is a self-contradictory corruption to say there is no difference between material and spiritual realities, because everything is made of differences, and all differences are highly significant. The nonmaterial realities which Buddhists describe, such as past lives, are not material realities, which means they are different from material realities.

A half-truth of their position is that in perceiving through the spirit would, everything seems to have a high degree of connectedness. But instead of just pointing out this connectedness, they deny differences as a method of negating criticisms. This dishonesty is a major corruption, because it blocks all criticism across the board. Their dishonest blocking of criticism is one of their major corruptions.

Another major corruption of meditation type Buddhists is to not acquire or promote the morality and knowledge needed to direct their efforts and powers constructively.

The horror of horrors about the result is that such forms of Buddhism can produce major sources of spirit powers without the knowledge or morality needed for constructivity. The most significant source of their spirit powers is to cease to exist as individual spirits and allow their spirit substance to contribute to some other source of power. They do not describe this consequence, but their spirit substance is going to go somewhere when they cease to exist, as they say they do. Wherever the spirit substance goes, it will create heterogeneous spirit substance, which is the source of the highest spiritual states.

This means Buddhism is creating major sources of power in the spirit world without the knowledge and morality needed for constructivity. Therefore, not all of the evil coming out of the spirit world is due to the spirit cannibals. Some of it is coming from nonspirit cannibals who acquire power through spiritual techniques such as Buddhism.
