As time goes on, satan's control over the world increases, until everything is destroyed through the apocalypse. Here's a way to conceptualize it. On page one, Woodrow Wilson was quoted as saying:

Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.

The satanic force was described by Wilson as overshadowing the work of "the biggest men." It now overshadows everyone. A century ago, the small people could go about their business responding to the objective realities at hand. Now they need to please satan for survival.

But just as they could not pin down the source of the problem a century ago, they often cannot now. It is common for social critics to refer the force of evil as originating with "the Illuminati," as if a group of elitists, with roots going back centuries, were so well organized and capable that they could run the world with no accountability to anyone. There is obviously no such organization in the material world. But the results are extremely obvious. It's just that the conspiring is done in the spirit world, not the material world.

So the small people are now afraid to speak above their breath about the evil. Their livelihood depends upon it. To be on the wrong side is to be shoved into the gutters with no means of survival. Even the flimsy social structures which once attempted to provide assistance are being dismantled. People are more and more on their own nowdays.

Christ said truth would set people free (John 8:32, 34). But who dares to be free, when it means being stomped into a hole in the ground where there is no hole in the ground. In Christ's time, being separated from the power structures was no loss. Therefore, being separated from sin was a good choice. But times aren't what they used to be. In fact, it is no longer possible to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, etc., as Christ commanded (Mat 25:31-46).

This is the pre-apocalypse. The apocalypse is satan's total control over human existence, with no possibility of any good coming out of it.

If people understood what was going on, satan would not have so much influence. If for example, they understood that the Illumunati is satan conspiring in the spirit world, they could produce some opposing force. A lot of truth could be produced without ending up in the gutters, if the critics who see something wrong understood that it is satan conspiring in the spirit world, not destroyers conspiring in the human society. Certainly, all power mongers are conspiring, it's the degree of success that differs.

There is a lot that could have been done to block satan's influence over human life. But it meant solving problems and creating social justice for the victims of injustice. A large part of satan's success stems from his ability to convince secure persons to throw others overboard. The carbon dioxide fraud is the clearest example. A lot of fools think they are conserving resources by shoving vulnerable persons out of the economy. All they are doing is turning their lives over to satan.

Solving the problems would be easier than creating them. People solve their own problems when allowed to. The only reason why problems exist is because persons with power do not want others competing with them for power, status or resources. That's called jealousy. It's closely related to bigotry, elitism and domination. It's why ending the sin is the only real solution to the problems.
