The basis of higher spiritual states is heterogeneity of awareness substance. When two types of awareness substance are combined, they form heterogeneous awareness substance. It perceives an infinite number of realities simultaneously. The result is perception over a wide expanse of time and the ability to perceive forward and backward in time.

What can be perceived can be influenced to some extent. Therefore, heteros, as I will call them, have some ability to influence molecular motion as well as other minds.

The problem is that there is a method of acquiring heterogeneity which is too cheap and destructive. It is spirit cannibalism. The eater can steal awareness substance from another person's mind causing the stolen substance to combine with his own awareness substance to create heterogeneity. The amount of awareness substance spirit cannibals steal determines the amount of power they acquire. Through repeatedly stealing awareness substance from other minds, spirit cannibals can control molecular motion sufficiently to influence weather, earthquakes, volcanoes, accidents and disease.

Long before material life existed spirit cannibals took over the spirit world. They tormented about half of the spiritual beings in a pit cannibalizing upon them for power. The other half they controlled through intimidation and coercion forcing them to worship them and call their perversion virtue to stay out of the pit.

Material life was created as a means of coping with the problem. It gave the victims an escape by entering first the bodies of animals and then humans. It also stabilized realities in a form which allowed rationality to occur and truth to evolve as a method of getting control over the destructivity by determining and defining the requirements for life.

The spirit cannibals were livid that they lost their power, so they attempted to reestablish the same system of control in the human society as they had in the ancient spirit world. Their activities, purposes and characteristics demonstrate their history.

The spirit cannibals increase their power over the human society through several methods. First, they created additional spiritual beings similar to themselves, which increased their power through numbers. Then they trick or coerce others to work for them in exchange for power. The takers are allowed to perceive through time using the stolen spirit substance which functions like a crystal ball. It makes gods of degenerates but does nothing to improve their capabilities, which are dependent upon attitudes, values, character and abstract understanding. The spirit cannibals also influence humans without their awareness through their corruptions.

With a large army to work with the spirit cannibals take over sources of power in the human society. But all they can do with power is destroy life, because corruption is based on a lust for power, while there is nothing constructive that can be done with power which is subjectively controlled. The only constructive form of power is the power of truth.
